the day i became an old lady

22 is a weird age, it is in between anything exciting
but still young enough to be outside of the adult world.

Is some how so much older.
22 and 23 are worlds apart.
I am not entirely sure why but turning 23 terrified me.

Luckily I had an absolutely wonderful day!

Naturally the big kid that I am, I started my morning off with a nice big cup of hot chocolate.

My supervisor Anna brought me some wonderful treats from a local bakery.
I definitely had my fair share of chocolate on my birthday.

We also went out to lunch with one of my co-workers at this awesome restaurant.
It looked like what I would imagine a restaurant in Paris circa 1920 would look like.
The food was pretty delicious too.

Then we got all dressed up and Erin, Tricia and I went to dinner at In N Out.
I like to keep things real classy.
Plus a burger, fries and a milkshake is one of my favorite meals.
And Erin needed to get one more trip in to In N Out before she headed back to Colorado the next day.

Grilled cheese. Absolutely delicious
And I finally got to try a Neapolitan shake.
I highly suggest it.

Then we went to Henry's in Berkeley for some birthday drinks.

It was pretty classy for a college bar.

I got some sort of blue drink called a Cable Car.

It was delicious.
It tasted like blue lemonade.

All together ir was one of my favorite birthdays.
23 might not be so bad after all.
